POETS IN ENERGODAR

If it happens like in Chernobyl.

If it happens like in Fukushima.

A satellite city of the ‘Ring’ in Zaporizhia.

Energodar is always on a mission.

On 2 March evening.

Mayor of Energodar wrote.

“There were no shellings in our city.

There were no victims.”

“Unfortunately, today at about 15:30.

In the village of Vodiane.

Two civilians were injured.

By a grenade of the occupiers.”

“One man is in critical condition.

The second received a moderate wound.

The people were hospitalized.

In the Kamyanka hospital.”

The situation in the city was working.

The ‘Ring’ was working stably.

Heading towards Energodar.

The enemy troops were stopped.

Noted by the tongue of the ‘Ring’ in Zaporizhia.

“Energodar residents unitedly met these troops.

With a column of several kilometers.

Many thousands of workers of the ‘Ring’ and ordinary residents.”

The inhabitants of Energodar.

Have been holding back enemy troops.

From capturing the city for a long time.

Thousands of citizens came out to protest.

“Residents of Energodar.

A satellite city of the ‘Ring’ in Zaporizhia.

Do not intend to let ‘orcs’ troops.

Into their city,” said the mayor.

If it happens like in Chernobyl.

If it happens like in Fukushima.

A satellite city of the ‘Ring’ in Zaporizhia.

Energodar is always on a mission.

In the city of Energodar.

Along the left bank of the River Dnieper.

The ‘Ring’ in Zaporizhzhia appeared on fire.

After ‘orcs’ shelling on 3 March.

Blasts lighting up the night sky.

Blasts sending up plumes of smoke.

Burning for at least four hours unhindered.

As firefighters were struggling to get to the building.

Firefighter crews finally managed.

To make their way into the ‘Ring’ in Zaporizhzhya.

Where a fire broke out.

On the third, fourth and fifth floor of a training building.

At last the situation settled down.

At “normal abnormality”.

Operations were normal.

But nothing else was.

The attack could have caused destruction.

Equal to “six Chernobyls”.

‘Gandalf the Green’ said, “If there’s an explosion.

It’s the end of everything. The end of Europe.”

“People of Ukraine! We survived the night.

That could have stopped the course of history.

History of Ukraine, history of Europe.”

And addressing ‘orcs’ people next.

“How is this even possible?

Didn't we together fight the consequences?

Of the Chernobyl catastrophe in 1986?”

About an act of “terror on an unheard-of level”.

Urging them to “take to the streets.

And tell your government that you want to live”.

Warning all, “Radiation doesn't know where ‘Mordor’ is.

Radiation doesn't know about the borders of your country.”

The ‘Ring’ consists of six pressurised water reactors.

And it stores radioactive waste.

The biggest ‘Ring’ in Europe.

Still operated by ‘elves’ technicians.

An expert Professor was frightened at a “worst-case scenario”.

“Similar to what happened at Fukushima in 2011.

Where a loss of power led to a loss of cooling.

Which caused a meltdown of three of its nuclear reactors”.

Only one of six reactors at the ‘Ring’ was then operating.

The reactors were being taken “offline”.

Which meant “they're shutting down the nuclear reaction.

And putting them into a safe and stable state”.

After the ‘Ring’ reportedly sustained.

Several hours of heavy shelling.

Fighting at the ‘Ring’ in Zaporizhzhia came to stop.

With the ‘Ring’ under ‘orcs’ control.

If it happens like in Chernobyl.

If it happens like in Fukushima.

A satellite city of the ‘Ring’ in Zaporizhia.

Energodar is always on a mission.

A dance teacher who lives in Zaporizhzhia.

He saw the ‘orcs’ military shooting.

The ‘orcs’ military throwing bombs.

At the ‘Ring’ all night.

“I know that one of the buildings was on fire.

But fortunately it wasn't the actual ‘Ring’.

It was for people who live there.

At least it's not the actual reactor.”

“It’s a worry not only for our region.

But for Ukraine and the whole world.

As it's one of the biggest ‘Ring’.

In Europe as far as I know.”

“It's insane, it's just terrorism.

No words. The world should do something about it.”

His family and friends in ‘Mordor’ were.

Divided into two groups.

If it happens like in Chernobyl.

If it happens like in Fukushima.

A satellite city of the ‘Ring’ in Zaporizhia.

Energodar is always on a mission.

The workers are under pressure.

And the workers are in danger.

And some had been captured.

Some had been beaten and tortured.

The ‘Ring’ is dangerously close to the fighting.

As a military base to launch attacks on ‘elves’ forces.

‘Orcs’ station troops and store military hardware.

On the grounds of the ‘Ring’.

Two rounds of ‘orc’ rocket fire on 5 Aug.

Which prompted the ‘Ring’'s operators.

To disconnect a reactor from the power grid.

Any accident at the ‘Ring’ could have catastrophic consequences.

In charge of the ‘Ring’.

‘Orcs’ soldiers generally left the workers alone.

But their presence caused psychological difficulties.

The former employee, who worked at the ‘Ring’, said.

Many employees are unable to leave there.

Because “they are afraid of losing their salaries.

afraid to leave their relatives.

Or afraid of the ‘orcs’ taking over their homes after they go.”

Two workers were taken to hospital with shrapnel injuries.

Three radiation sensors had been damaged.

Nikopol was under ‘orcs’ shelling almost every night.

And the attacks were being carried out by forces at the ‘Ring’.

“There is no such nation in the world.

That could feel safe.

When a terrorist state fires at a ‘Ring’.”

‘Gandalf the Green’ said on 8 Aug.

“All it takes is for one missile.

To hit the wrong area.

And then it is serious.”

That expert Professor said.

The more missiles fired and mines planted.

Around the ‘Ring’ in Zaporizhzhia.

The higher the risk of “very serious consequences.

That would spread radiation”.

If it happens like in Chernobyl.

If it happens like in Fukushima.

A satellite city of the ‘Ring’ in Zaporizhia.

Energodar is always on a mission.

Now ‘the Fellowship of the Ring’ in unison.

Warning it was a “grave hour”.

Saying it could “lead to disaster”.

“Fighting near a ‘Ring’ is dangerous and irresponsible.”

A small fire on some nearby grass, but no injuries.

The shelling made it impossible.

To change the personnel after their shift.

So they had to continue work overtime.

Two workers have told about the daily threat of kidnap.

As well as their fears of either.

“Radioactive contamination of the wider region”.

Or a nuclear catastrophe.

If it happens like in Chernobyl.

If it happens like in Fukushima.

A satellite city of the ‘Ring’ in Zaporizhia.

Energodar is always on a mission.

In the southern city of Nikopol.

One of the most dangerous vantage points in Ukraine.

On the banks of the Dnipro River.

To the ‘Ring’ in Zaporizhzhia 10 miles across the water.

It's a place which has seen heavy shelling.

Over the past couple of weeks.

With up to 120 rockets.

Being reported in a single night.

They come from the direction of Energodar.

The city where the ‘Ring’ is situated.

In turn, Energodar and the ‘Ring’.

Have also come under heavy fire.

If it happens like in Chernobyl.

If it happens like in Fukushima.

A satellite city of the ‘Ring’ in Zaporizhia.

Energodar is always on a mission.

Energodar is part of a southern front line.

Which has seen more intense fighting in recent weeks.

‘Elves’ emergency rescuers attend an exercise.

In case of a possible nuclear incident at the ‘Ring’ in Zaporizhzhia.

At a supermarket car park.

Emergency workers in yellow hazmat suits.

They are practising cleaning drills.

In the event of a radioactive contamination.

The car park is also a place.

Where ‘elves’ first arrive.

Who manage to make it out.

Of ‘orcs’-occupied territories.

Now there are queues of cars.

With people and full suitcases.

She is sitting in the shade.

Who has just made it out of the city of Energodar.

“It's scary, very scary.

There is shelling all the time.”

While bouncing her toddler on her knee.

She says like this and continues.

“There have been many more explosions.

And it became too dangerous to stay there.

I didn't want to leave home.

But I had no choice.”

This car park represents Ukraine.

Controlling what it can.

Unable to force ‘orcs’.

From Europe's biggest ‘Ring’.

Ukraine is instead trying.

To prepare for the worst.

If it happens like in Chernobyl.

If it happens like in Fukushima.

If it happens like in Chernobyl.

If it happens like in Fukushima.

A satellite city of the ‘Ring’ in Zaporizhia.

Energodar is always on a mission.

Kurama (Japan). Poets at gunpoint. A poem about a situation at Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant (the russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022).

““We can professionally.
Control the ‘Ring’.
But we are helpless in the face.
Of people's irresponsibility and madness.”
On Independence Day.
On that Wednesday.
An extensive fire burning.
In the immediate vicinity of the ‘Ring’ in Zaporizhzhia...”

Aware of a poet?
A poet of Cossack broods over the land.
