The Kyiv Ballet in Japan, 2022.
Kurama: "It was my great pleasure to watch the incredible performances (the opening one was, of course, "Gopak"!) on 23 July 2022 in Japan by the dancers of the Kyiv Ballet company, also known as the Taras Shevchenko National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, which is regarded as one of the oldest musical theatres in all Ukraine. So I wrote this poem."

A POET ON A TOE
In the wordless war.
In the wordless world.
My land is alive on my toes.
In the wordless war.
In the wordless world.
My land is kicking on my toes.
In the wordless war.
In the wordless world.
My land is dancing on my toes.
In the wordless war.
In the wordless world.
My land is keeping on my toes.
In the wordless war.
In the wordless world.
My land is standing on my toes.
In the wordless war.
In the wordless world.
My land is tiptop on my toes.

"Aware of a poet?
Aware of a poet?
A poet of Cossack broods over the land.
Not noting a bullet.
Not noting a bullet.
You see a poet of Cossack in Borodyanka."
